One Expert, One Bean, One Opportunity at a Time

Building Liberia’s Coffee Future

Universal Outreach Foundation is entering an exciting new chapter: the development of a Liberian coffee industry rooted in quality, local ownership, and long-term economic opportunity. At the heart of this initiative is a rare and remarkable coffee variety — Liberica — and a pivotal moment where expert guidance will determine the success of everything that follows.

We are inviting a small group of supporters to help us take this critical step forward.

Why Liberica?

Liberica coffee represents less than 2% of global coffee production, yet it is uniquely suited to Liberia’s climate and history.

Unlike more common Arabica or Robusta beans, Liberica offers:

  • A bold, distinctive flavour profile

  • Resilience in challenging growing conditions

  • Strong alignment with West Africa’s terroir

  • Premium niche-market potential

Liberica is not mass-market coffee — it is story-driven, specialty coffee with the potential to command higher prices and create greater value for farmers and producers. But Liberica’s uniqueness also makes it less forgiving. Roasting it well requires experience, precision, and deep understanding.

Why Expertise Matters
Right Now

This phase of our coffee initiative is decisive.

We are moving beyond experimentation and into quality definition — establishing roast profiles, flavour consistency, and training systems that will shape the reputation of Liberian coffee for years to come.

That’s why we are seeking support to bring Rodrigo Chavez to Liberia. Rodrigo is an experienced coffee professional with the technical skill and hands-on approach needed to:

  • Develop Liberica-specific roast profiles

  • Train local staff in roasting and quality control

  • Establish repeatable systems and standards

  • Mentor Liberian producers to confidently manage the process themselves

This is not about dependence — it’s about knowledge transfer.

What Your Support Makes Possible

Funds raised through this campaign will directly support:

  • Bringing Rodrigo to Liberia

  • On-the-ground roasting and cupping sessions

  • Hands-on training for local staff

  • The development of scalable roasting protocols

Your contribution helps ensure that when Liberian coffee enters the market, it does so with quality, credibility, and confidence.

A Clear Moment to Step In
